DanubE+ Cooperation

The DanubE+ Cooperation international conference is a unique, high-level event that brings together rectors and vice rectors from six countries linked by the Danube River — Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Serbia, and Ukraine.

This event is designed specifically for leaders who are shaping the international direction of their institutions.
As a participant, you will:
• Forge strategic partnerships with fellow HEI leaders across the Danube region.
• Explore international cooperation opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme.
• Gain first-hand insights into the preliminary results of the EDUREGION project, a key initiative supported by the Danube Region Programme that seeks to enhance governance and cooperation in higher education.
• Engage with good practices from successfully implemented E+ projects.
• Set the foundation for joint projects and long-term academic collaboration.

Who Can Participate?
This event is co-organized together with the National Agencies from Bulgaria, Hungary, and Serbia, with high support from the National Erasmus+ Offices of Moldova and Ukraine and it is open to:
Rectors, Vice Rectors, or heads of International Relations Offices (IROs) directly involved in internationalization efforts, from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Serbia, and Ukraine.
Each country may send 5–10 participants, ideally one representative per institution.

Logistics

The Romanian National Agency will cover accommodation costs in single rooms for a maximum of 3 nights: arrival on the 25th of June, before dinner, and departure on the 27th of June, after lunch, or on the 28th of June, in accordance with travel arrangements.

The Romanian National Agency will also cover costs all the related to the organisation of the event: meals, and transportation for selected participants from Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine.

The National Agencies from Bulgaria, Serbia, and Hungary will cover the travel costs for selected participants from these countries. Before applying, please contact the National Agency in your country.
